Rs 60,000 cr investment made in Haryana in six years: Hooda
This was in contrast to the investment of Rs 40,000 crore made in the state in the period of 1966 to 2005, he said.
Speaking after inaugurating a college at Manesar in Gurgaon district today, Hooda said the state government had taken various steps to bring about qualitative changes in the education system.
According to an official release, he said during the last six years of his tenure, the number of seats in technical education institutes have been increased from 23,000 to 1,25,000.
Hooda said while Haryana was once on the 14th position among states in per capita investment, it was now on the top position.
