Rajinikanth thanks his fans for their support

New Delhi, Jun 18: Superstar Rajinikanth in a message to his fans thanked them and said he will never forget them and continue to entertain them.

Rajinikanth was discharged on Wednesday, Jun 15 from a Singapore hospital.

"Superstar discharged from hospital. He has recovered completely and taking rest. Soon national award celebrations :) god bless," tweeted his son-in-law Dhanush after he was discharged.

The actor is currently on a vacation, said his family adding that he will be back in Jul.

After Rajinikanth started shooting for "Rana", a Tamil period movie on Apr 29, the actor started complaining of exhaustion, following which he was admitted to several hospitals.

On Wednesday, Jun 15 sources confirmed that the actor has been discharged from the hospital in Singapore.

The Tollywood superstar will soon reach Chennai as "he (Rajinikanth) is stable and fit" now, sources close to the hero informed.

The superstar was admitted to intensive care unit of the city-state's Mount Elizabeth Hospital. Later he was taken to Singapore for better treatment.

The 60-year-old hero has been suffering from acute gastro-intestinal and respiratory problems and was admitted to hospital thrice since Apr 29.
