Guwahati averts major blast, explosive in Kolkata bound train

Explosive IED was found in a Kolkata bound train, Kanchenjunga Express at the Guwahati railway station in the wee hours of Friday.
Bomb squad officials continue their search and investigation in the entire railway station.
Suspicions are pointed towards the main active terror group of the region - ULFA behind the incident. Though, the militant group has not confirmed the news.
Co-incidentally and ironically, the latest terror threat shattered the region once again when Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi, on Jun 16, claimed to proceed peace talks with ULFA's pro-talk chief Arabindo Rajkhowa.
