New Delhi, Jun 16: It was quite clear that the seventh meeting between the Lokpal panel ended in vain as no consensus have been made yet. Citing the "progress", Anna Hazare reiterated that he will resume his fast as the government "killed Lokpal bill".

After the meeting on Jun 15, telecom minister Kapil Sibal informed that two grafts will be tabled before the Union Cabinet if the panel fails to break the deadlock in the next meeting which will be conducted on Jun 20 and 21.

Criticising the government's decision, Hazare asked, "Proposal of forwarding two draft bills to the Cabinet is ridiculous as it defies the very logic of setting up of a joint drafting committee."

Hazare reminded people that two different grafts were existing and the government could have sent those two drafts to the cabinet. Hazare's charge clearly showed that how the UPA government has played with time to draft the bill.

However, Sibal as the government's representative, vowed to keep its promise to table the final draft by Jun 30. Now, it will be interesting to see how Hazare and the government will solve the fuss.
