Chouhan reaffirms his govt's commitment towards Muslim welfare
Speaking at a function where he was felicitated last night by the State BJP Minority Front, the Chief Minister said that the number of students from the Muslim community who got scholarship had gone up from 10,000 to 81,000.
Chouhan expressed the hope that this number would go up to one lakh next year and added that separate hostels for Muslim girls in all the districts of the State.
He said that three persons from the Muslim community who serve it well would be honoured with prizes of Rs one lakh each year and added that encroachment on Waqf Board properties would be removed.
The Chief Minister said that the Congress always divided Hindus and Muslims whereas the BJP considers them as two hands of the Bharat Mata.
