"With all the great tunes you've created, we had to give the #LesPaul doodle a permanent home. Keep on rocking!" Google tweeted Friday night.
Google depicted a new interactive doodle on its search engine home page on Thursday, Jun 9 to honour the 96th birthday of the legendary jazz guitarist, songwriter and inventor Lester William Polsfuss, better known as Les Paul.
The new doodle was a digital version of the electric guitar, the Gibson Les Paul, which was developed by Les Paul. People around the globe started to play guitar on Les Paul Doodle and many of them uploaded their tunes on social networking site Facebook and video sharing site YouTube.
With its surging popularity, Google featured the Les Paul doodle for the second day on google.com. Going further, Google decided to make this doodle a stand alone version, where users can play their favourite tunes on the electronic guitar. Kudos Google.. Keep going with your innovative features!
