Breather for UPA, Baba Ramdev breaks fast, finally

Haridwar, Jun 12: Baba Ramdev finally broke his fast on Sunday, Jun 12. Ramdev's fast, which has entered the ninth day on Sunday, left the UPA government in a tensed situation.

Earlier Baba refused to call off his fast but after meeting with the spiritual guru, Sri Sri Ravishankar, teh yoga icon decided to end his hunger strike.

Baba, who was admitted in a Dehradun hospital, claimed that he will continue his protest against the government over its (government's) inaction on handling black money and corruption.

Baba's close aide Acharya Balkrishna, during a press conference, informed that Ramdev will stay in the Dehradun hospital for some days as his health worsened on Sunday morning.

Art of Living (AOL) chief Sri Sri Ravishankar said that Ramdev ended his 8-day long hunger strike after taking fruit juice amid several spiritual leaders.
