Bihar: Nitish Kumar inaugurates 312 bridges

Patna, Jun 10: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today (June 10) inaugurated 312 bridges and other schemes on the 36th foundation day of the Bihar State Bridge Construction Corporation.

The bridges, constructed in various districts including Muzaffarpur, Khagaria, Supaul and Saharsa, were inaugurated throgh remote control by Kumar at a function here.

Speaking on the occasion, Kumar said the state government wanted to construct as many bridges and roads to ensure that it takes only six hours from the state capital to visit even far-flung areas in Bihar.

Praising the works being done by the BSBCC, he said that the corporation had so far ensured construction of over one thousand bridges in the state during the last six years of NDA coming to pwoer.
