Google translate: Sachin Tendulkar not Suresh Raina is God

Bangalore, Jun 10: Fans world wide have always considered Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar as the God of cricket and that is what even technology is confessing. Weird it may sound but, Google translate in a bizzare way translates "

is god" in Serbian to "

is God" in English.

While there has been no information, if it is a malfunction or a deliberate attempt to establish the Indian cricketing legend as the supreme cricketer (highly unlikely though that Google would do something so wayward to recognise the Master Blaster's genius).

So this is how it happens:

• Go to www.translate.google.com

• Type: "Suresh Raina is God"

• Translate it to Serbian.

• Copy the Serbian text and translate it back to English

• The Result: "Sachin Tendulkar is God"

The keyword "Suresh Raina is God" is spreading like a wild fire on Google trends. Irrespective of whether Google has managed to do it deliberately or it is just another malfunction, the fact remains Sachin Tendulkar, to cricket fans around the world is God.

Sachin, who has been playing international cricket for 22 years is widely regarded as the greatest batsman of all time and his statistics speak for that. Sitting on the verge of 100 international centuries, he is the only man in the history of cricket to have scored more than 50 Test Centuries and 40 ODI tons.

Called the Master Blaster, Sachin is heads and shoulders above other cricketers in terms of international career runs. He has scored more than 32,000 runs in all formats of the game put together.
