Both Congress and BJD dishonest: BJP

"Both Congress, which heads UPA government at the Centre, and ruling BJD in Orissa are ''beiman'' (dishonest) and corrupt," BJP's Orissa unit president Jual Oram told reporters here.
It is meaningless on the part of AICC's Orissa in-charge Jagdish Tytler to describe BJD government as ''beiman'', Oram said, adding people in Orissa and elsewhere know it well that Congress party is also dishonest and corrupt.
"Neither BJD nor Congress is clean and honest. They are birds of the same feather," he said.
Affirming his party's resolve to intensify the campaign against corruption, the BJP stalwart said the people of Orissa are intelligent enough to make their own judgement after carefully examining the track record of Congress and BJD.
People would certainly reject BJD and Congress in the next elections as corrupt practices by both the political parties have been thoroughly exposed, Oram said.
Maintaining that the state-wide anti-corruption campaign launched by BJP in Orissa was nearing completion, he said national leaders including party's former president Rajnath Singh would join the drive shortly.
With an aim to spread the campaign in all the 147 Assembly constituencies in the state, BJP has already covered about 75 segments, he said.
Tytler had recently dubbed the state government headed by Paitnaik as "dishonest". "I describe the BJD government as ''Beiman'' (dishonest) as it has betrayed the people in Orissa," Tytler had alleged.
