Shame on BJP, started mission with Ram ended on Ramdev: Cong

Lucknow, Jun 7: Congress' bombshell, the party general secretary once again attacked the main opposition party Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Tuesday, Jun 7. Attacking BJP over its support towards Baba Ramdev, Digvijay claimed that the Opposition party should be shameful as the party started its mission with Ram and ended on Ramdev.

Blaming BJP, the Congress leader also claimed that BJP leaders have adopted the "art of lying" since their nursery period.

Digivijay, who attended a press conference, explained Congress' plan for the upcoming 2012 assembly election in Uttar Pradesh. Digvijay also clarified that Congress will not engage in an alliance with Samajwadi Party or Bahujan Samajwadi Party (BSP).

Hurling his attack on UP Chief Minister Mayawati, Digvijay claimed, "Mayawati didn't take farmers' issue seriously and not even provided adequate compensation."
