Krittika's lawyer under pressure to drop the case

Krittika Biswas
New York, June 6: The 18-year-old Kritikka Biswas's unfortunate tale that rocked the entire US has now taken a fresh turn where Krittika's lawyer Ravi Batra has been kept under pressure to drop the case.

Batra claimed that his well-wishers advised him to drop the case that has been hyped a lot.

Krittika Biswas, the daughter of Indian diplomat Debashish Biswas in New York was charged of "cyber bullying", wrongfully accused of sending obscene and anti-Semitic e-mails to her teacher. She was taken under custody for 24 hrs. Also, the innocent was suspended from her school in February, 2011.

Batra, representing Krittika Biswas, had earlier spoken of what the student really went through and their fight for justice in this exclusive account.

Now, he cleared the fact that he wont drop the case at any cost. "This is about basic human rights and how human beings live with one another under law and this is why this case is important and I am not going to be dropping this case," Batra said.
