BJP to launch four-day 'Kisan Bachao Yatra' from June 8

Lucknow, Jun 6: The BJP will take out a four-day long "Kisan Bachao Yatra" from June 8 from villages affected due to Yamuna Expressway between Agra to Gautam Buddha Nagar.

The yatra will start under the leadership of party National Vice President Kalraj Mishra and other senior leaders will participate in it, party sources said here today.

The yatra will be flagged off by former UP Chief Minister Rajnath Singh and National President Nitin Gadkari will be present on its conclusion on June 12 here.

During the yatra, party leaders would interact with farmers to know more about their grievances, they said.

The party would also seek suggestions by farmers for passage of Land Acquisition Amendment Act during the next Monsoon Session of the Parliament, they said.
