Baba Ramdev's supporter in ICU after police lathi-charge

New Delhi, Jun 6: 50-year-old Rajbala is one of the seriously injured in the police lathi-charge that took place on Sunday, Jun 6 that left many of Ramdev supporters injured.

Rajbala, who is admitted to the ICU is undergoing treatment at Delhi's GB Pant Hospital.

According to her family, the police hit her brutally. Paralyzed in both arms and legs, she is on ventilator now and is said to be in critical condition.

She could be paralyzed for life, said doctors who were attending her.

Rajbala had a cervical joint replacement surgery on Sunday, Jun 6. It was on her insistence that she went to support Baba Ramdev's cause despite her family asking her to leave the venue at midnight. She was injured after police stormed into the venue and lathi-charged people.
