BJP attacks Digvijay for calling Baba Ramdev ''thug''

A statement issued here by BJP Co-spokesperson Umesh Sharma, says that the All India Congress Committee General Secretary Digvijay Singh is used to making derogatory and provoking statements, which should be condemned by the society.
"Baba Ramdev is not a humbug or fraud, but Digvijay Singh himself is a political thief," Sharma said.
"On martyr Hemant Karkare's death, Osama Bin Laden's killing and on many such occasions, Digvijayjji got too vocal," Sharma said.
He described Singh's habit of making such statements as "verbal violence" and criticised the former Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, saying that his statements are aimed at drawing attention and creating anger in the society.
Sharma further said that the way the UPA government crushed Baba Ramdev's agitation recalled the emergency period during the reign of late Prime Minister Indira Gandhi.
