Digvijay Singh calls Baba Ramdev a cheat, justifies police

New Delhi, Jun 5: The bombshell of the Congress party, its general secretary, Digvijay Singh once again hurled his powerful attack on Baba Ramdev. Digvijay called the Baba a "cheat."

Calling the yoga guru a "cheater", the Congress leader chided, "Ramdev duping people for ages, now wanted to cheat the government."

Justifying the police midnight action at Ramlila Maidan, Digvijay Singh claimed, "Ramdev was allowed to conduct a yoga shivir at Ramlila Maidan, but he (Ramdev) started illegal protest there."

"I have never seen him teaching yoga. People like Ramdev should not be allowed to run riot," claimed the Congress leader and also added, "Ramdev was playing politics and inciting people."

This was not first time that Digvijay targeted Baba. Earlier the Congress general secretary criticised Ramdev's fast as calling his (Baba's) indefinite fast as a "five-star satyagraha" sponsored by RSS and VHP to divert people's attention from "Sanghi terror".

A large number of police personnel on Saturday (Jun 4) midnight descended at Ramlila Maidan, the venue where Baba Ramdev is on a hunger-strike demanding action on black money. Around thirty people were injured during police "brutality".
