4 top Yemeni officials in Saudi for treatment

Yemen unrest
Sanaa, Jun 4: Yemen's official news agency is reporting four of the top leadership injured in the rocket attack on the presidential palace are in Saudi Arabia for treatment.

Today's report says the prime minister, the president's top security adviser, and the two heads of parliament were already in the neighboring kingdom. Officials had said at least the security adviser was in serious condition.

Rockets smashed into a mosque on the presidential palace grounds, where President Ali Abdullah Saleh was praying with senior officials. Saleh was lightly wounded. In a brief audio statement, he blamed "outlaw" tribesmen for the attack.

The strike was a dramatic escalation of fighting between Saleh's forces and rival tribesmen in the capital.
