Yemen: President, Deputy PM injured says Report

New Delhi, Jun 3: Ali Abdullah Saleh, the President of Yemen escaped death when the presidential palace was hit by a rocket while the Deputy Prime Minister of Yemen has been injured in the attacks, said a report.

Saleh was hurt in the attacks and taken to a military hospital said officials. Saleh came on television to brief the citizens of the country saying that he was doing good and the injuries were just minor.

He said that seven people were killed in the attacks. According to officials, those killed were officials and guards.

The that presidential palace in Yemen has been hit by two shells leaving a Parliament speaker injured.
