Baba Ramdev refuses to relent, will carry on with his fast

Speaking at the Ramlila Maidan in New Delhi, the venue for his protest fast, the yoga guru said, "Admire that thousands have joined the fight against corruption...Have to bring back money stashed in foreign countries."
Stating that his fast is against all those who are corrupt irrespective of their religion, he cited the examples of Hasan Ali and A Raja, saying that he gave the example of the duo to emphasise that graft and black money cuts across all religions.
Continuing with his tirade against the corrupt in India, he said that he won't rest in peace until they are sentenced for life or even meted out death sentence.
Declaring that he is neither in support of any party nor does he intend to offend any one, he said he belongs to all parties and is still independent. He also showed his supporters the extensive arrangements that he has been made to ensure that leaders from all political parties can attend his fast to show solidarity against corruption.
The yoga guru, also sought to clarify that the air conditioners, fans and LCDs installed in the Maidan, have been managed through the donations of his supporters and not through any sponsorship from any companies.
In a slight respite to the government, he informed that the ministers and he have arrived on consensus over most issues but are yet to receive a complete assurance on the eradication of corruption.
