2G: Siddharth Behura's bail plea rejected
Siddharth Behura is a close aide of ex-telecom minister A raja, who is currently lodged in Tihar jail for his alleged role in the 2G spectrum scam. Behura was arrested by the CBI along with Raja and RK Chandolia on Feb 2.
It was Behura who led to the allocation of 122 licenses with his signature. Behura insisted that he was merely acting on the orders of A Raja before he became the DoT Secretary and pleaded innocence.
