Ratan Tata gets 2G relief; CBI gives clean chit

CBI claimed that no irregularities have been noticed while issuing 2G license to the telecom company. Ratan Tata and corporate lobbyist Niira Radia earlier were accused of irregularities in getting 2G license.
CBI told the special court on 2G scam "No irregularity in issuance of licences to Tata telecom." However, the court's verdict is still awaited.
A lawyer earlier had approached a Delhi court seeking investigation against Tata group, Anil Ambani's Reliance and Niira Radia.
An advocate R Krishna Murthy told the court, "As far as 2G scam is concerned, the key role is played by Nira Radia, Ratan Tata, Anil Ambani ans Dayalu Ammal (wife of DMK chief M Karunanidhi). The truth will come out only by impleading them in the charge sheet."
