Pakistan a nation without food and clothes, says AQ Khan

Lahore, May 29: Pakistan, a nuclear armed nation is without food and clothes, said Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan, nuclear scientist, Pakistan, addressing Lahore High Court Bar lawyers through telephone.

Qadeer further said that it was a shame that Pakistan had to depend on financial aid from foreign despite of the fact that the country was a nuclear power.

He requested the government to let the country live with dignity and free itself from the clutches of others, adding that if the country continued to get foreign assistance, it would not be able put a stop to outside intrusion in its matters and curb terrorism.

He also said that the country should reason out its failure in making Pakistan a nuclear power.
