1 killed, 30 injured in road mishap in Ghazipur
Ghazipur, May 29: One person was today (May 29) killed and 30 others, including women and children, were injured when two vehicles collided head-on in Birno area here in the district, a senior police official said.
The incident took place this morning when a truck carrying brick kiln workers from Siddharth Nagar to Gaya in Bihar collided with another truck near Nasratpur village this morning, Deputy Superintendent of Police Shri Ram Singh said.
He said that the truck driver Sugreev Yadav (35) was killed in the accident and around 30 others were injured, who are being admitted in a nearby hospital.
