Dell launches 'Back2School Offer' on desktops

New Delhi, May 28: One of the leading computer manufactures in the world, Dell has announced the launch of its 'Back2School' offer in India.

The Back2School offer, which focuses on families and students who are preparing for the new school year, provides free school kit along with the selected Dell desktop computers. The Dell Back2School offer is an initiative by the company to offer the maximum value in education and entertainment.

The Back2School offer, started on May 24 till the end of Jul 2011, will give consumer desktop computers with specially designed Disney Pixar 'Cars 2" branding. The offer is available on Dell Inspiron 560 and 580 Desktop models, the Inspiron All-in-One series and the XPS Desktops.

According to the Back2School offer, consumers who purchase the Inspiron 560 and 580 Desktop models will receive a 'Back2School' gift collection of six 'Cars 2' stickers, the original Disney Pixar 'Cars' movie DVD and a limited edition 'Cars' widget CD containing an extensive range of 'Cars' wallpapers and videos.

Along with the 'Back2School' gift collection, consumers will get a Disney Pixar 'Cars 2' branded school bag, tiffin box, water bottle, notebook and pencil box with the Dell Inspiron All-in-One desktop or XPS desktops.

"The 'Back2School' campaign is geared towards encouraging school children to adopt technology and utilize its potential in exploring and widening the scope of learning. Dell has always worked towards revolutionizing education through technology and through such offers; we want to make going back to school really exciting for students," said P Krishnakumar, Executive Director, Marketing, Consumer and SMB, Dell India, during the launch.

The desktops are available at Dell India, Dell Exclusive Stores and Dell registered retailers in over 250 cities across India.
