New Delhi, May 27: Finally, eleven months after its worldwide release, the Apple iPhone 4 landed in Indian soil! Indian's leading mobile operators, Aircel and Airtel, announced the launch of iPhone with a price tag of Rs 34,500 for the 16 GB version and a whopping Rs 40,900 for the 32 GB model.

Just like the first version iPad, the technology giant Apple took nearly one year to bring its most popular device - iPhone 4 to India, world's second biggest market for mobile phones. The fourth generation iPhone is famous for its sleek and razor thin design.

The iPhone 4 has a 3.5 inch Capacitive Touchscreen display with 640x960 pixels resolution and runs the brand new iOS 4 operating system. This device boasts a 5 megapixel camera at rear with LED flash and is capable of recording HD videos at 720 frames per second. iPhone 4 also offers a VGA camera at front panel for video chating.

The Retina display on iPhone 4 is the sharpest, most vibrant, highest-resolution phone screen ever, with four times the pixel count of previous iPhone models. With the Multi-tasking features on the device, users can run third party apps and switch between them instantly without slowing down the performance of the foreground app or draining the battery unnecessarily.
