Beijing, May 26: Two people were killed and three others injured in three bomb explosions on Chinese government buildings in the southern city of Fuzhou, Jiangxi province.

The first bomb exploded on Fuzhou city prosecutor's office, followed by the second just after two minutes on Linchuan district government building. The third bomb went off near the local drug administration building after 20 minutes.

"A car bomb went off at 9:18 a.m. in the parking lot of the Fuzhou city prosecutor's office, followed by a blast at 9:20 a.m. at the Linchuan district government building and another car bomb at 9:45 a.m. near the local drug administration building," said Zhang Baoyun, a spokesman for the government of Jiangxi province.

Government officials said that one body was recovered in the district government building and another person died in the hospital. The government news agency, Xinhua, reported that glass windows of the eight-story prosecutor's office building shattered during the explosion.

At least ten vehicles were destroyed at the Linchuan government building. The total number of causalities are still not known as the roads to these three sites are blocked by police force. Unofficial reports blamed a farmer behind the three attacks. Authorities have started investigation.
