2G: Morani's bail plea postponed to May 30

New Delhi, May 26: The court on Thursday reserved the bail plea hearing of Karim Morani till May 30.

Cineyug Films Pvt Ltd, Director, Karim Morani's bail plea will be heard by a special CBI court on Thursday, May 26.

Morani, one of the accused in the 2G spectrum scam is seeking anticipatory bail claiming that he has been keeping unwell due to which he cannot attend the court.

The court earlier dismissed his bail plea after it received a medical report from the department of Cardiology and Neurosurgery from Mumbai's J J Hospital, stating that his condition is " stable and normal".

The court also said that proper medical facilities were available in Tihar jail and if required the prisoner/ under-trail could be moved to the nearest hospital for treatment.
