AP CM congratulates IIT-JEE rank holders

Hyderabad, May 26: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy today congratulated the students from the state, who, for the second consecutive year bagged top ranks in the IIT Joint Entrance Examination (IIT-JEE) 2011.

The Chief Minister in a congratulatory message to the top ranking students said "Well done. You have done proud to not only your parents and the institutions but also to our state. I wish you will achieve more laurels in the days to come."

The students from Andhra Pradesh bagged five out of the top ten ranks in the IIT entrance examination, the results for which were announced yesterday.

Reddy also had a special word of appreciation for Immadi Purudhavi Tej who topped the list of successful candidates. Shyamak Reddy and Burle Sai Kiran grabbed the third and fourth ranks respectively while Bhargava Reddy obtained 8th rank and J Varun 9th rank.

During the IIT-JEE 2010 exams, seven students from Andhra Pradesh had grabbed the ranks amongst the top-10 with Anumula Jithendar Reddy topping the list.
