New Yahoo Mail landed; gets closer with Facebook

San Francisco, May 24: The web giant Yahoo has rolled out the latest version of its popular mail service, Yahoo Mail. The new version will be available in 26 languages to its 284 million users in 43 markets round the globe.

Yahoo, which offered the beta version of the new mail service in Oct 2010, brought innovative features to the brand new Yahoo mail version. The social-networking integration makes it easier to connect with friends and loved ones.

With the new Yahoo Mail, users can respond to Facebook friends from right inside an e-mail rather than jumping to Facebook. Now, users need not to jump outside the Yahoo Mail to connect with your friends through Facebook.

Another exciting feature is the ability to view slideshows and video from links directly inside your e-mail. Also, with the new feature that pushes e-mail from those in users address book to the top of unread messages, users would not miss any important mails. It also helps users to see the mails from your friends or office than other junk mails or adverts.

New Yahoo Mail offers text and instant messaging service from inside the e-mail program. Yahoo added thirty party apps like YouSendIt, Evite for making mailing simple and quicker.

"Yahoo's vision for online communications brings together all the tools that people use to connect--e-mail, chat, SMS, and social updates--and makes it easier for them to share content and engage in conversations with the people that matter most to them," Yahoo chief product officer Blake Irving said in a statement.
