Humiliated Pakistani security forces reclaim naval airbase

The militants have however managed to destroy two highly sophisticated aircrafts.
Admiral Noman Bashir, Pakistani Navy Chief said, “When they fired the first rockets, they were intercepted. Then they could not launch another attack on other aircraft and they tried to hide."
According to interior minister Rehman Malik, three militants were killed, another's body was buried in the rubble from the collapse while two others managed to flee. A Pakistani navy spokesman later stated that at least 10 military personnel were killed and 20 were injured.
It was the fifth such attack after the killing of Osama bin Laden by US Navy SEALS in a mansion in Abbottabad, Pakistan on May 2.
It can be recollected that soon after the death of Osama bin Laden, Taliban had vowed revenge and in a call to Reuters from an undisclosed location said, "The diplomatic staff of all NATO countries are our targets...We will continue such attacks. Pakistan is our first target, and America is our second."
