Khan's name in wanted list a very serious embarrassment: CPM

"It is a very serious embarrassment. The Home Minister has now admitted to the mistake that is made. Now, it is up to the government to see how they correct it. Let us see," Yechury told reporters when asked about the goof up.
Home Minister P Chidambaram on Thursday, May 19, had accepted the 'mistake' and taken 'responsibility' after the goof up was exposed in the media and the opposition attacked the government.
Mumbai Police had arrested Khan, an accused in 2003 Mulund blasts, on May 21, 2010. He was granted bail by a court. But his name figured in the list of most wanted fugitives given to Pakistan.
