Bail or jail? Will Kanimozhi get karuna in 2G scam?

Kanimozhi, the daughter of DMK supremo and former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister, M Karunanidhi is one of the main accused in the biggest telecom scam in the country. The accused DMK MP has been chargesheeted by the CBI for allegedly accepting Rs 200 crore bribe for Kalaignar TV - where she owns a share of 20 percent.
Kanimozhi's bail is now dependent on her lawyer Jethmalani, who had earlier blamed former telecom minister A Raja for the wrongs attributed to Kanimozhi stating that "she neither signed any documents nor handled affairs of the company."
However, Karunanidhi's late sister Periyanayagam's son, P Amirtham claimed, "Kanimozhi was a founder-director of Kalaignar TV. She resigned on Jun 20, 2007, from the board because the necessary clearances from the ministry of home affairs (because she is an MP) were delayed. Nevertheless, she used to take keen interest in day-to-day affairs of the company."
Just a day before the crucial day of her life, Kanimozhi on Thursday complained of ill-health in a Delhi Court which allowed her to temporarily skip the proceedings in the 2G spectrum case. It seems that the Rajya Sabha MP has started experiencing the heat which may reach its peak on Friday.
