Jaya wishes speedy recovery to Rajinikanth

"The Chief Minister spoke to Latha Rajinikanth over phone and enquired about his health. Latha apprised the Chief Minister of his health and the treatment he was undergoing (at a private hospital)," an official release here said.
Wishing the superstar a speedy recovery, Jayalalithaa told Latha that she would pray for his good health, it said.
Rajini had greeted Jayalalithaa on her party's spectacular victory in the Tamil Nadu Assembly polls on May 13 itself by way of a letter to which she had not only replied but also wished him speedy recovery, as he was not keeping well, the release said.
Rajinikanth, who had suffered from exhaustion on April 29, the first day of the shoot of his latest venture ''Raana,'' was later treated for allergic bronchitis and fever.
He was again, on May 13, admitted to Sri Ramachandra Medical Centre and his wife had told reporters on Thursday, May 19 that he was "doing fine".
