Pervez Musharraf to return to Pakistan for final war

Islamabad, May 14: Pakistan is slowly mulling towards a big war and the former President of the nation - Pervez Musharraf claimed that he will return to confront the battle on its soil.

Pakistan is going to hold its general election in 2013 and the self-exiled former president vowed to land in the country in Mar 2012. While speaking at a conference in Dubai, Musharraf said, "My plan is to land in Lahore on March 23 next year, if not earlier."

Musharraf, who may be arrested over the Benazir Bhuttoo assassination case, said, "I run the risk of being arrested, but I will take the risk for Pakistan."

Musharraf, who launched the All Pakistan Muslim League (APML) in Oct 2010, had earlier claimed, "We are ready to contest elections."

"A little more time would be useful as we are a new party. However, we will definitely try if the elections come early," added the APML leader.
