No bail, no jail; DMK daughter Kanimozhi continues smiling

New Delhi, May 14: It seems that Kanimozhi and the whole DMK family received a breather after the special CBI court on 2G spectrum scam deferred the hearing of bail plea till May 20.

Kanimozhi, who has been named as one of the co-conspirator in the second generation telecom scam, appeared before the Patiala House Court on Saturday, May 14.

Along with Kanimozhi, the hearing of bail plea for other accused, Sharath Kumar, Managing Director of Kalaignar TV in the 2G scam has also been delayed.

Friday, May 13 was one of the toughest day for the entire DMK family as the party supremo M Karunanidhi lost his power to AIADMK chief Jayalalithaa in Tamil Nadu.

In spite of the laptops, grinders and cell phones offered as goodies, it looks like Jaya's effort to woo women voters providing funds and mangalsutra's (knot) for girls marriages did the trick for her.
