YS Jagan leads mom to victory against uncle

Former Chief Minister late YS Rajashekara Reddy's wife and mother of YS Jagan, YS Vijayamma won Pulivendula assembly constituency with a record majority. She won the seat with 85,191 votes majority over her nearest rival and Congress candidate YS Vivekananda Reddy. It is the biggest record in the history of Pulivendula. Her massive majority even surpassed her husband, who died in a violent helicopter crash.
Congress candidate and YS Rajashekara Reddy's brother, YS Vivekanda Reddy failed to win the hearts of supporters, who were supporting Congress during YSR's time. YS Vivekanda Reddy, who challenged his brother's son and YSR Congress party president YS Jaganmohan Reddy, got only 28,656 votes.
TDP candidate Btech Ravi settled in third place with 11,552 votes. YS Vijayamma bagged a total of 1,14,198 votes, making a clean sweep over her husband's brother.
According to the latest results, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is leading by over 5,00,000 votes in Kadapa Lok Sabha constituency against his nearest rival Congress' DL Ravindra Reddy.
