Samsung unveiled the Galaxy S WiFi 4.0 and Galaxy S WiFi 5.0 smart players earlier at 2011 Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona. Now, these mini tablets will be out for the public in various markets. With the Galaxy S mini tablets, Samsung plans to compete with Apple's iconic device, iPod, which dominates the entire entertainment sector.
Unlike the Apple iPod, new Samsung Galaxy S WiFi 4.0 and Galaxy S WiFi 5.0 offer brand new features to ensure maximum entertainment to the users. These mini tablets run on Android 2.2 Froyo operating system powered by 1GHz processor. Both these smart players will be available in two variants, 8 GB and 16 GB internal memory, and support 32 GB memory expansion using micro SD cards.
Samsung Galaxy S WiFi 4.0 has dimension of 123.7 x 64.2 x 9.9 (mm) and a 4.0-inch WVGA Super Clear LCD display screen. The 1,200mAh battery provides 5 hours video and 36 hours audio playback time.
Samsung Galaxy S WiFi 5.0 has 141.3 x 78.2 x 11.9 (mm) dimension and brings 5.0-inch WVGA TFT LCD display with Multi-touch zoom features. The 2,500mAh battery will offer 8 hours video and 60 hours audio playback time.
Both Samsung mini tablets has dual camera, a front-facing VGA camera and 3.2 megapixel rear camera with LED flash. Other features include Music Player with SoundAlive to play TM/ MP3/ WMA/ WAV/ OGG/ AAC/FLAC files and video player to play MPEG4, H.264, WMV, DivX/XviD formats.

Galaxy S WiFi 4.0 and Galaxy S WiFi 5.0 will be launched first in Russia and Switzerland respectively and will be soon in other countries including India. Samsung has not yet announced the exact price of these mini tablets, but we can expect it to be priced below Rs 15,000.
