HBO GO app hits Android Market & iTunes Store

New York, May 2: HBO has announced the launch of HBO GO app, which will allow HBO subscribers to watch their favorite shows and movies on smartphones and tablets.

The new HBO GO app is available both in Android Market and Apple iTunes store. The Android and iOS users can enjoy more than 1,400 favorite HBO shows, like HBO original programming, hit movies, sports, comedy and every episode of the best HBO shows, including True Blood, Game of Thrones, Boardwalk Empire, Entourage, The Sopranos, Curb Your Enthusiasm®, Sex and the City, The Wire and more. and much more right on their smartphones and tablet devices.

Additionally, it brings bonus features and special behind-the-scenes.

The HBO GO app helps users to access HBO whenever they want, wherever they are and never miss a moment of their favorite HBO shows. Moreover, users can create a customized Watchlist to catch up all favorite HBO shows and hit movies at their convenience.

HBO GO is only accessible in the United States now and requires minimum a 3G connection for viewing on mobile devices. The mobile HBO GO app is free to download, but it won"t work without an HBO subscription plan though a cable company.
