Hacking attempt on Xbox Live; Microsoft issues warning

Microsoft said that phishing attempt has been detected on their popular online game Modern Warfare 2. It advised Xbox Live users not to reply for title specific messaging while playing Modern Warfare 2.
"Users may receive potential phishing attempts via title specific messaging while playing Modern Warfare 2," it said on the XBox Live Status website.
"We are aware of the problem and are working to resolve the issue. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your patience."
Earlier on Apr 20, hackers intruded to Sony's PlayStation Network and Qriocity and forced Sony to pull back the service. Later Sony confirmed the "unauthorized intrusion" and reported hackers accessing users' personal details including password and credit card number.
