Apple debuts white iPhone 4 - It's Awesome!

California, Apr 28: Now, it's the time for pure white. After an year long delay, the iPad maker Apple started the sale of 'white iPhone 4'. The white iPhone can be purchased from Apple's online store, Apple stores and authorized retailers.

The technology giant Apple planned to launch the white iPhones in Jun 2010, but the manufacturing challenges delayed the launch. With the new white iPhones, Apple plans to compete with the Android smartphones from various manufacturers. The new white iPhone looks more beautiful and will offer a brand new identity to the user.

Meanwhile, a recent market study revealed that Apple's iconic device is losing its popularity to Android devices. According to a survey conducted by Nelson Co. in United States, new smartphone buyers prefer Android smartphones over iPhones. About 31 per cent of the respondents planned to buy a new smartphone that runs on Android operating system and 30 per cent wanted to buy an iPhone.

"The white iPhone 4 has finally arrived and it's beautiful. We appreciate everyone who has waited patiently while we've worked to get every detail right," Apple's senior vice president of worldwide product marketing Philip Schiller said in a statement.

The new White iPhone will be available on Thursday, Apr 28 in Austria, Australia, Belgium, Britain, Canada, China, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Luxembourg, Macau, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Switzerland, Sweden, Taiwan, Thailand and the United States.
