Sachin sheds tears for Sai Baba at Puttaparthi

Puttaparthy, Apr 25: The ardent follower of Sathya Sai Baba, iconic cricketer Sachin Tendulkar on Monday, Apr 25 reached Puttaparthi to pay his last tribute to his spiritual "guru".

Sachin, with his wife Anjali, arrived at the Sai Kulwant Hall in Prashanti Nilayam where Baba's body has been kept and is to be buried on Wednesday, Apr 27. (Sachin mourns at Sai Baba's death)

Sachin, who is called as the god of Cricket, shed his tears while paying his homage to the Godman. It might be the worst gift that the cricketer have received on his 38th birthday. Sachin skipped his birthday celebration on Sunday, Apr 24 after receiving the news of Baba's demise. (Sai Devotees mourning - Video)

The 85-year-old Baba, whose clout ran far and wide though having had more than his own share of controversies, died at 7:40 AM following multi-organ failure at the Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Medical Sciences founded by himself in this backward Anantapur district town in Andhra Pradesh, the place from where he ran his spiritual empire.
