Another hurdle to Dum Maro Dum; Allahabad HC issues notice

The producer and the director of the movie got notice from the Allahabad High Court over the petition filed by the two Lucknow based advocates - Rohit Tripathi and Tripuresh Tripathi.
The two advocates requested the court to issue directives to the producer and director of the film to suitably amend the name of the film. The duo also requested the high court to ban the telecast of 'Dum Maro Dum' song or to suitably modify it so that it falls within the purview of morality and decency. The high court has given three weeks' time to the respondents to clarify their position.
Meanwhile, the Bombay High Court dismissed the Public Interest Litigation (PIL) filed against the movie which is all set to be released on Apr 21. The Bombay High Court conducted the hearing over a petition which accused the movie of portraying Goa and its people in bad light.
