DDA Results: 16,000 flats allotted; website, list details

New Delhi, Apr 19: Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has received applications from almost 7.5 lakh people for the DDA flats. The list has been published on its official website on Monday, Apr 18 and appeared in newspapers on Tuesday.

More than 16,000 flats have been allotted within three hours after the list got published, the DDA sources informed.

"I am very happy. I wanted to try my luck. I applied for a one-bedroom Janta flat as I wanted to pay for it myself. I invest in the stock market," said the first successful applicant, who was allotted the first flat, R Sehgal. She also added, "The idea of having a house in your name in the city brings joy."
