Digvijay Singh praises new MP Congress chief Bhuria

Bhopal, Apr 13: Congress General Secretary Digvijay Singh today (Apr 13) described the new president of Madhya Pradesh Congress Kantilal Bhuria as a man with a "fighting spirit".

Singh told PTI that Bhuria was an experienced political leader who held many important posts during his long career.

He said that the new State Congress chief was a leader who could take along with all sections and this would definitely help the grand old party.

Bhuria had begun his political career with the NSUI and has risen to being a Union Minister, the senior Congress leader said.

"It was because of his hard work that Bhuria could make such progress," Singh said.

Singh said Bhuria had successfully worked as a minister both in the State as well as at the Centre and added that all Congress leaders in Madhya Pradesh have decided to work jointly under his leadership.

Bhuria has won four elections to the assembly and four to the Lok Sabha.
