BJP asks JK govt to fulfil state employees demand

Jammu, Apr 8: Asking the Jammu and Kashmir government to avoid repressive policies, the state unit of BJP on Thursday, Apr 7 said that it should address the state government employees demand for grant of the Sixth Pay Commission arrears.

"We express anguish over apathetic attitude of the state government against the protesting employees on the streets of Jammu. Omar should avoid repressive policies and address their grievances", BJP state spokesperson Nirmal Kamal told reporters.

The present ruling government has been using brutal force against any one who protests for his or her rights democratically, she said.

They (protesters) are being treated as criminals when they demand their rights they have to meet wrath of police lathi-charge, she alleged.

Kamal expressed full support of her party to the agitating government employees.
