Bihar: Nitish Kumar reviews I-T Policy 2011

Reviewing the progress made in formulation of the new policy at a high-level meeting here, Kumar stressed the need for transparency in the policy.
''There should be complete transparency in allotment of land, capital subsidy, electric subsidy, stamp duty and electricity subsidy for expanding the communication and I T base in Bihar,'' he said adding the I T unit providing greater job avenues would receive due attention under the proposed policy.
Deputy Chief Minister S K Modi, state Chief Secretary Anup Mukherjee, Industrial Development Commissioner C K Mishra, and Information Technology Department's Principal Secretary Arun Kumar, also attended the meeting.
