New Delhi, Mar 28: The Indian Home Secretary Gopal K Pillai will meet his Pakistani counterpart Chaudhary Qamar Zaman on Monday, Mar 28 for the two-day bilateral talks between the two countries, ahead of the World Cup semi-final encounter in Mohali.

The main focus of the talks will be promoting and strengthening peace between the neighbours. Qamar Zaman, heading a six-member delegation, reached in India on Sunday. He said that the talks between the two sides would enhance peaceful relations and promote people-to-people contact.

The Pakistan Home Secretary also added that all core issues would be discussed in a peaceful atmosphere and it would help both countries to understand each other.

Sources reported that the talks will not be smooth as India plans to demand more clarity on 26/11 attacks' probe. Also, India may raise voice over Pak's involvement in recent Jammu Kashmir unrest and other terror-related issues.

Pak Home Secretary appreciated Prime Minister Manmohan Singh's invitations to his Pakistan counterpart and the President to watch the World Cup Cricket match between the two teams on Indian soil.
