Microsoft promotes IE 9 through 29 Indian websites

The list of chosen sites include ESPNCricinfo, Kotak Bank, PhotoVault, Reliance Global Call, Sameer Belvalkar's FrozenFrames.com, Sify, Zapak Games, Naukri, Rediff SongBuzz, SnapDeal, e-commerce site Flipkart and online booking site BookMyShow.
Micosoft India revealed the latest in browser at TechEd India 2011, an annual IT conference organised by Microsoft India.
These sites will showcase the prowess of the new Internet Explorer 9 that was recently launched. The latest offering from Microsoft is intended to tap the browser market especially at a time when the market is on fire with more and more players wanting a piece of the market share. According to a report, Internet Explorer rules the roost with a 45% market share against all the different version of browsers available on the market put together.
