Religare wins Starmine award for Best Brokerage Research

Mumbai, March 23: Starmine Award is given out by ThomsonReuters every year in recognition of exceptional performance throughout the professional investment community. In this year's Indian edition of the award at Mumbai, Religare Capital Market (RMCL) won the Starmine Award for 'Best Brokerage Research house'. It was the only to get the overall excellence of its coverage of companies, and quality of research.

The StarMine Analyst Awards and StarMine Broker Rankings are aimed to recognize the world's top individual analysts and sell-side firms. This is based on the objective measurement of their estimate accuracy and recommendation performance. There are calculated using StarMine equity analyst performance data, which has been rigorously tested and proven in the marketplace since 1998.

Speaking on the recognition, Chief Executive Officer, Religare Capital Markets, India, Tarun Kataria said, “We are truly delighted to receive this award, as it recognizes the considerable expertise sitting in our India equities and research business. To have received this award is a sign of the progress we have made, both in India and in other emerging markets."

Religare professionals also won many individual awards in various categories including sectors such as real estate, transportation, consumer goods & services, energy and information technology (IT).
