New Delhi, Mar 23: Aiming to get the major shares in Indian smartphone market, Taiwan based smartphone maker HTC has announced the launch of its latest device HTC Incredible S in India at Rs 28,900.

The official launch was announced just a week after we reported the proposed launch of this smartphone in India. The new HTC Incredible S smartphone runs on Google Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system and packed with all-new HTC Sense UI.

The Incredible S, which was showcased during 2011 Mobile World Congress, has a 4-inch touch screen display with 480 x 800 pixel resolution. This mobile is powered with 1 GHz Scorpion processor and 768 MB RAM. Other features include Bluetooth, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, DLNA, digital FM radio, Adreno 205 GPU etc.

The new HTC mobile has dual cameras, a rear-facing 8 megapixel with auto focus and dual LED flash and is capable of recording 720p HD videos. The front facing 1.3 megapixel camera supports video calling feature. This phone comes with a massive 1.1 GB internal memory and supports 32 GB memory expansion with micro SD supports.

HTC Incredible S price in India:
The price of HTC Incredible S in India is Rs 28,900, which is Rs 1000 less than the recently launched Nokia E7 smartphone. Earlier, HTC announced another smartphone, HTC Desire Z in India at Rs 25,590. It seems like HTC has been planning to launch its high-end smartphone devices in Inida, one of the largest mobile market in the world.
